About TRCCC
History
Trease Road Child Care Center was opened on April 12, 1982 by a group of women from First Mennonite Church. They felt there was a need for quality child care services in the Wadsworth community. Since that time, TRCCC has served hundreds of children and has gained an outstanding reputation in the Wadsworth community.

"Our non-profit status means more of your tuition dollars are invested into providing the best learning environment for your child at a very competitive rate. We encourage you to visit our facility and meet with our staff."
What is it?
Step Up To Quality is a voluntary quality rating system designed by the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. This program promotes learning and development programs that meet quality standards exceeding licensing health and safety regulations. Standards are based on national research that will improve outcomes for children.
What rating has TRCCC obtained?
TRCCC achieved a 5-Star rating in 2015 and has maintained it ever since. This is the highest and most prestigious quality rating awarded by the state. The level of quality and care at this facility exceeds Ohio's child care licensing standards.
What does this mean for my child?
Lower ratios in toddler and school-age classrooms means that your child will receive the attention and support needed to achieve learning and proper development.
Administrators and teachers are required to have higher education qualifications to best support your child's changing needs. This requires administrators and teachers to complete 30 hours of specialized training every two years.
Teachers develop lesson plans and complete assessments to evaluate and improve learning experiences.
TRCCC values families and community. Family engagement opportunities throughout the year provide involvement at a personal level for your child and those that mean the most.
